ATTENTION PARENTS....
-Kids learn by example, it is a known fact. Why not set the best example of all and promote a healthy lifestyle within your family. That includes proper nutrition, exercise, getting enough sleep, and spending quality time together. There are many ways to spend quality time with your children. One great way is to do some type of physical activity with them 4 or 5 times a week, even if it is only for a half hour or so. Bike riding, exercising together, playing golf, going for walks, playing catch, hiking... the list goes on and on. All of these activities when done WITH the child shows your children how important YOU think it is to take care of your bodies too! When kids see their parents being active like that, they too will start to develop these lifetime habits of healthy living. So what are you waiting for? The weather is perfect! Get on out there and get active with your child! It's a win-win situation.
